Capitalists have always called ‘freedom’ the freedom of the rich to get rich, the freedom of workers to starve. Capitalists call freedom of the press the freedom of the rich to bribe the press, the freedom to use wealth to fabricate and falsify so-called public opinion. The defenders of “pure democracy” turn out to be, in fact, the defenders of the most dirty, corrupt system of domination of the rich over the means of educating the masses, turn out to be deceivers of the people, distracting them with plausible, beautiful, and thoroughly false phrases from the concrete historical task of liberating the press from its enslavement to capital."
