Keep position in stream after resharing post?

Folks, title probably says it all: Whenever resharing a post from my network stream, I lose my last reading position and am sent all the way up. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

That would require somebody to rewrite the editor logic to do the posting in the background. Basically like we already do with comments. I'd appreciate that!

@Hubzilla Support Forum Adding to that maybe, wondering: When browsing the /network stream, how can I open an individual post on my local hub in a new browser tab? That would make that workflow a bit easier already. But either I'm too dumb or I just fail to see where to click to do that.🙈
