Hello world from Hubzilla.de!
tl;dr: Our long-form posts will go here from Hubzilla (in cases where they might break mastodon.xyz character limits)
Hello there, people of the fediverse and Hubzilla! We are Recap Time Squad, an open-source organization (all-remote team by the way) based in the Philippines, building all things OSS and more. Currently, it is being run as a one-person operation by our Autistic Filipino BDFL himself, @~ajhalili2006 (he/they) (@Andrei Jiroh Halili on Hubzilla too but on another homeserver than this one), but we're happy to open for applications soon if you want to join our team (perhaps bring your projects too for shared infrastructure and why not?) after ironing out our team handbook behind the scenes.
Here in Hubzilla is where our long-form posts go, a la Headway or Ghost if you will, alongside community updates across the fediverse we might think important to you. Feel free to follow us here alongside our main Mastodon account at @Recap Time Squad for future posts.
One last thing, while we are self-funded (or self-bootstrapped depending on your vocabulary) by our BDFL's portion of his weekly school allowance every month and personal savings, we are looking for donations from people like you to keep our projects and the infra and people behind them running alongside being a non-profit organization fiscally sponsored by a US non-profit (see disclosure at end of this post).
So that is the entire introductory post! See you around for future updates from the crew and happy weekends by the way.
---
Fiscal sponsorship disclosure: Recap Time Squad is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) US non-profit with the EIN 81-2908499.
