Yay! I think I finally managed to fix the charging problem on my girlfriends #
Dell Inspiron.
Keyboard and charging LED would start flickering when the battery got empty and the laptop got connected to the charger. Nor would it take any charging.
I had the battery replaced and checked the chargers but the issue still remained.
Found a workaround to disconnect the battery, drain the motherboard for electricity, reconnect the battery and plug in the charger but this is not a practical solution to open up the laptop every time it needs charging.
Good thing is it takes charging both via DC- connector and USB-C and I suspect the DC- connector is shortened or something. So I disconnected the DC- connector from the board and for now it takes charge via USB-C without going crazy blinking.
Yet I need too drain the battery and see if it will take charge again.
