A sobering interview by
#Poland president Andrzej Duda:
> Today it is being said that Vladimir Putin lost the war, and his failure is that Finland joined NATO, although for years the Finnish public hesitated whether it should abandon neutrality. Ladies and gentlemen, Vladimir Putin has not lost any war. I hope he loses it. For the time being, we have a situation where the Russian steamroller is crushing Ukraine, hundreds of people are dying on the frontline every day, with Russians numbering more than 100 million and Ukrainians less than 40 million. This difference alone shows who has the upper hand here. For Russians, human life means nothing, for Ukrainians every life is at a premium. It is a different culture. Russia is a nuclear superpower, it has gigantic stores of weapons - so what if we laugh that it rolls out tanks from the 1960s, when each tank weighs 50-60t. If it drives, it crushes, regardless of whether it is modern. Putin will lose the war when the Russian army is pushed out of Ukraine's internationally recognised borders.
