Identi.ca is the first #fediverse site and the precursor to status.net.

in 2008 i was running my own Identi.ca server; which i used as a bridge between my mobile tech, drupal sites and the early Twitter and Facebook.

so i fediversed waaaaaay before it was cool, as in, almost 20 years ago.
