Umabot sa 80% ng military forces ang tumalikod sa rehimeng Marcos, isang dahilan kaya siya napatalsik noong 1986. Nag-strafing pa nga ang helicopter gunships na nag-alyado sa mga military rebels sa premises ng Malacañang upang ipakita ang kanilang pag-about face sa kaniya. Sumumpa si Juan Ponce Enrile bilang Secretary of National Defense at si Fidel Ramos bilang Chief of Staff ng AFP ni Cory Aquino noong February 25, 1986. Ayon kay Enrile, sila ang nagdesisyon na si Cory ang gawing pangulo. Ito at marami pang detalye ang nakapaloob sa kwento ng EDSA People Power, ayon kay Enrile, Ramos, Col. Gringo Honasan, Col. Red Kapunan, Navy Captain Alex Palma, Col. Rex Robles at marami pang military personalities. Itong video ay ginawa ng DND noong circa 2013-2014. 8 or 9 years ago lang ito produced, Senate President si Enrile at ganadong-ganado siyang ipagmalaki na ang 4-day military rebellion na pinangunahan niya at ni Honasan, ay pagtalikod sa pandaraya sa eleksyon at pagmamalabis sa kapangyarihan ni Pangulong Marcos. In the past several years, binabaligtad ni Enrile ang maraming important points na sinabi niya publicly from 1986-2014. Bakit parang naging bff si Enrile at Marcos Jr. ngayon?
Noong June 5, 2014, na-charge ng Ombudsman si Enrile ng plunder, kasama ng kaniyang Chief of Staff na si Gigi Gonzales Reyes. Ang charge sa kaniya ay ang pangungulimbat ng PDAF sa halagang PhP 172 million. Nasabi na ni Enrile na gusto niyang ma-dismiss ang kasong ito bago siya mamatay. Nakakulong pa rin si Gigi Gonzales samantalang pinalaya on bail si Enrile noong 2015: ayon sa desisyon ng mayorya ng Korte Suprema, ito ay dahil sa humanitarian consideration. Magiging 98 years old na si Enrile ngayong Pebrero 14.

Rigoberto Tiglao, a columnist of the Manila Times, considers Dr. Rey ileto a "top historian'. However, i find Dr. Ileto's theory that President Ferdinand Marcos was a victim of the US thrust for globalization as outlandish. I consider it crude disinformation. He claims that "There is overwhelming evidence thatchis (Marcos') removal was directed from Washington." Where is the overwhelming evidence?
As the narration of facts in the attached video will show, the February People Power Revolution was homegrown--without the participation of any foreign power.
In the truth, the Revolution was caused by the degeneration of the Marcos martial law "bagong lipunan" to "bahong lipunan" and triggered by the assassination of Ninoy Aquino. I should know. I was already 24 years old when Ferdinand Marcos declared martial law.
