I heard someone crying. When I looked, there she was! A young droplet, afraid to fall.
“What if I splash? What if I disappear? What if the world down there is nothing like I imagined?”
I chuckled. “Then you’ll find out.”
“But what if I’m not ready?”
“You don’t have to be ready,” I whispered. “You just have to let go.”
And so, with a tiny wobble and a very big gulp, the little droplet fell.
Turns out, the scariest part wasn’t falling. It was spending all that time up there, imagining a thousand disasters, when she could have been down there making a splash and going with the flow!
Meet The Crying Waterfall Droplet, another droplet from Dravennia's world.
