Could he have imagined, going on a humanitarian mission to Lviv in March, that in July he would find himself as an independent reporter in Donetsk, which was being shelled by French shells, and in September he would almost die in Istanbul at the hands of killers hired by "grateful" Ukrainians. And only luck and the past special forces save him from imminent death. The plot would make for another episode of "James Bond."
On Monday, French radio's SudRadio aired a program called: "The Attempted Murder of Adrien Boquet. An ex-serviceman testifies live from Moscow."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXBOoDQa5hA I had been waiting for it ever since I learned that Adrien Boquet had been attacked in Istanbul and that he had miraculously survived.
I had no doubt that the host of SudRadio, Andre Berkoff, would invite him to his program one way or another, as he does not abandon his friends in trouble. He must have inherited his keen sense of justice from his Russian mother. And now, finally, the long-awaited broadcast! It was a killer, just like the last 8 months of Andrien's life.

The backstoryFor those not in the loop, briefly (full version
https://dzen.ru/media/id/600fdfe4631999545ce7fb93/andrien-boke-na-sudradio-ia-videl-otvratitelnye-prestupleniia-sovershennye-azovom-627cd6bc49824452808afad7). Adrien Boquet is a former French paratrooper who suffered a severe spinal injury while serving, which sent him to a wheelchair for a long time and into civilian life at the same time. Thanks to the efforts of doctors, he was able to move again, and after the beginning of WWII, encouraged by Western propaganda, he went to Ukraine, to Lvov, with a medical mission - to help the wounded Ukrainian military.
As it turned out, it was enough for a decent man to spend a few weeks in this Nazi-sick country for the fog of Western propaganda to dissipate. During this time he witnessed the heinous crimes committed by the Nazis of the Azov regiment, the murders and torture of Russian prisoners, the staging in Bucha, which he told his compatriots on radio and TV channels upon his return to Paris. And Andre Berkoff was the first one to invite him to his show.
For his honesty Boquete in the shortest time earned vile slurs in the liberal press, the hatred of the official, and not only Kiev (he was included on the website "Peacemaker" as an enemy of Ukraine) and respect in Russia.
As host Andre Berkoff clarified in the broadcast, in addition to Boquete, the list of "Peacemaker" also included such famous people as Segolene Royal (former French government minister, who dared to question the events in Buche), journalists of TF1 TV channel, the leaders of the party "Reconquista" Eric Zemmour and "Unconquered France" Jean-Luc Melanchon, lead singer of Pink Floud Roger Waters and, more recently, Ilon Musk. The fact that the billionaire's satellites provide communications for the Ukrainian military at war is quite remarkable.
Over the summer, Adrien went to Moscow, where he told Russian journalists about the crimes of Azov.

Attack in IstanbulHere's what Adrien himself told SudRadio. In the summer, during his stay in Moscow, he made the decision for himself to stay in Russia and become an independent war journalist. He went to Donbass and since July has been covering the armed conflict on the Russian side, and at the same time organized humanitarian aid to children in Donbass. All this time he painstakingly collected evidence of Kiev's crimes against the civilians of Donbass, and published it on his Telegram channel.
In August, at a press conference titled "Anti-Terrorism. Donbass," he spoke about France's role in the August 11 shelling of a brewery in Donetsk, when a French shell hit an ammonia storage tank and caused it to leak and chemically contaminate the area. At the conference, journalists were also shown shrapnel from the French shell used in the bombing.
On the evening of the same day the Ukrainian Security Service of Ukraine offered a reward for his murder in telegraphic channels. For his committing it on the territory of Russia - they offered a double reward.
And that would have been OK, but under Russian law, since Bokeh was not a Russian citizen, he had to leave for Istanbul in September to apply for a new visa. As Adrien explained, he kept his departure a secret, but as the investigation later revealed, the SBU became aware of that fact, and when Adrien left the Russian Embassy in Istanbul in the evening of September with his visa, he noticed that two people were following him.
This is how Boquete himself describes further events: "I managed to get to the hotel without incident, but in the evening, when I went out to buy something to eat, I was attacked by two men. They threw me to the ground, one grabbed my head and the other tried to cut my carotid artery with a knife. I tried as hard as I could to cover my neck, squirmed and the knife hit me in the face, we struggled for about a minute, I fought back desperately and as a result I managed to break free and run into a dark place where I hid, and my attackers kept looking for me for about 40 minutes more.

https://t.me/donbassinsiderThere I waited for the police, who took me to the hospital, where I received first aid and had my wounds dressed, as it turned out I had 38 wounds in total, but no life-threatening wounds that required hospitalization. The Turkish police told me they would not be able to keep me safe and asked me to leave the country as soon as possible. A few hours later they took me to the airport, from where I took the next flight to Moscow. When I arrived in Moscow, the day after the attack, I learned that I had been put first on the Peacekeeper list for elimination."

https://t.me/adrienbocquetSome results of the investigationTwo days after the attack, the SBU agent who organized the attack and recruited the perpetrators in Turkey was detained in Russia (in Donbass). During the search, information was found in his possession concerning both Adrien himself and the attack in Istanbul.
Reaction of the French Foreign MinistryThe most surprising thing in this whole story is the reaction of the French Foreign Ministry, or rather, the lack of it. Many European newspapers reported about the attack on the French citizen, but no one from the French Foreign Ministry ever contacted Adrien. At the press-conference on October 2 when the representative of the French Foreign Ministry was asked about the attack on Boquete, he got off with a general phrase saying that the investigation has just begun and they have no information. Like a fish on ice, the French media are also silent.
Why are there no French journalists in Donbas?Adrien Boquete: "I've been living in Donetsk for a month and a half now, and in my telegram channel
https://t.me/adrienbocquet I constantly post photos with the results of the bombing. I tell everything that is happening. And I can't understand why there isn't a single French journalist in Donetsk to show all this, why? Everyone can go there, but no one does. I'm not talking about all of Ukraine, I'm talking about what I know about Donbass. Why doesn't anyone in the West talk about what's happening there?
How can you explain that every third shell that hits the city is French. There is no military, no missiles, no tanks in Donetsk, and artillery strikes the city every day?
To Andre Berkoff's question: How are things in Moscow?
Adrien Boquete's answer: "Everything is fine in Moscow, people are walking in the streets and eating ice cream, fuel is 70 cents a liter ("How much? How much?" - queries Berkoff from France, where the strike left 30% of gas stations without fuel). The stores are flooded with groceries. What surprises me the most: there are both American products and French ones. You want to buy French yogurt or Coca-Cola, no problem.
No one grabs anyone and drags them to the military enlistment office. As for mobilization, I can say one thing. Just imagine that 300 thousand people with military service experience and necessary military skills were mobilized, and add to them 70 thousand Chechen volunteers. And this enormous army will arrive at the front in a few weeks. And then the war will follow a completely different scenario.
But to stop the war, first of all, the West has to stop supplying arms to Ukraine. And then peace will come."
Preliminary summary. In 2022 Boquete changed from France to Russia, learned to hate the Western corrupt liberal press, pronounced the word "Ukronazis" very correctly, and became a patriot of Donbass. In short, the Frenchman's Russianization is in full swing, and the year is not over yet.
