MacOS updates (13.6.5 -> 13.6.6) in the morning.

In both cases
% xz- V
results in

xz (XZ Utils) 5.6.1
liblzma 5.6.1

Apple isn't fixing this on time (?).

@phanisvara (streams) I surely knew that this post would lead to people on other OS saying that it doesn't make sense to use macos anyways. Thanks for proving my unoutspoken hypothesis #jijiji.

However, am curious, how other macos users are treating this incidence.

my ultimate conclusion is: use whatever works for you -- which includes iThings & such. still, i'd like to know what makes you use MacOS, if you care to explain. i understand windoze, that comes pre-installed on everything and sort-of works these days, but Mac? i've never used it so perhaps there's reasons that elude me.
