So my step daughter really wanted her own E-bike after our trip with her mom's E-bike a few weeks ago but we can not really afford one... I thought.
Then I found this worn down 2016 Giant Dirt E for sale for about 230,-€ in my area. Needs some work/maintence of course but the motor and battery work well (enough) so she is pretty happy with it.
Ordered a new front chainring, new chain and tires and told her that I need to take everything apart to clean/inspect/replace. She asked me if we can paint it matte black with some pink patterns which I think can be really cool.
I'm looking forward to make this the coolest bike in the neighbourhood and learn to work on an E-bike. I am already looking into how to refurbish the battery which seems like a nice challenge.
