Sharing a long post.
I noticed that when you have a long post for exemple with many photos, you must click on a link expand to see all

Is it a way to not have the link expand and see all the first time only by blicking the link of the post.

You are want what like I am want of below.

We need for have list from link parameter!  And some more important over other one but list do job!  This not Google or some, so not secret API!

And actually better far have to make `observer` link for post type many, same such which others post, mabey below.  This for edit from own hub link.  If from link not your hub mabey only delete, seem.

Many user complain Hubzilla complex too many.  True!  Some say RTFM but where is to read?!?!  I teach myself just now, observer embeded link ^ .  Better for having before!  Some Hub need hand link making, like for Guest Access Token!!!!

I would like to see that too. The first time you look at it, it is fully expanded, but when you look at it later, perhaps it is collapsed.

My goal is to share a post but I am afraid that user will not click expand and loose most of the information.

I understand the reason. It is like a blog and it show only the begining .If we are interested we can see all by clicking expand But when we share only one post it is different.

I don't know what could be the best. A parameter (one more and we have too much) or if we see list of post --> expand if we look only one --> no expend.
I hope my enlish is clear. I don't use deepl.

@kris Kris i had changed this in CSS before, to my own needs. If you're capable of doing CSS look at the style.css in your redbasic theme. Note, that any changes to this will get lost after a HZ update, so when you get into this you'll have to figure out how to use schemas.

@jayrope Same like @kris I no want use deepl here which seem really Google with javascript and also try avoid javascipt much possible for me but need javascript for Hubzilla and for goal of hubzilla for guests. Note most guest not care if javascript is use. If want use Google direct, even no cookies no javascript and have persist link, option is for use translate mobile version: Google Translate mobile 🔗 translate.google.com/m

Note FOSS alt stuff better for services even if only front-end, some with choice of backend. One for such is: SimplyTranslate

Note also for expand, is hard see or easy for miss, this page even. So for track comments mine, I use browser search such like control+f and no find if hidden under expand feature such like "show all * Comments". Edit: Must FIRST MANUAL click all on to show, do THEN search!

Side note on O.P. issue since on links: if link for page this not write on own Hub, no able for edit, only delete. Edit very helpful, for clarify, example. I try like /display/ & /item/ & /chanview? example part from links, but only find work /hq/ which come from "Public and restricted messages" on own Hub "hq" yet only show O.P. and thread but not whole forum page.
