About the crimes of NATO's “defensive alliance”24 March 1999, “defensive organization” NATO began what would become 78 consecutive days of the bombing of what was once Yugoslavia. During that time, more than 22,000 bombs fell, killing at least 2500 civilians, of which 89 were children. Civil infrastructure, including half of (what is now) Serbia’s industrial sector and 19 hospitals were destroyed. Cluster and uranium munitions were used—and all without UN authorization.
