Creating a rss feed only channel

Hi everybody, back to hubzilla after a long time!
I'm trying to create a channel which is populated only by rss feed from a certain website.
IIRC it is something that was doable at the time, but now, at least here on hub.hubzilla.de, I cannot do anymore.
Is some special app needed in the Hubzilla instance? Or something other I'm missing?

I managed to find the "channel source" app, which let me add another channel or feed as content source. But the "feed" option is not working.
Do I need to add the rss feed as contact (I'm not able as of now)?

Yes, I think so. Only connected channels can be used as channel sources.

@Davide You can add a rss feed url like any other channel: Go to connections, hit the "+ Add" button and enter the feed url. If your server has rss feeds enabled then this should work.

no sorry, I'm messing up things.
I have the rss feed as contact, but I cannot use it as source for the channel. Instead, I can add a *channel* as source.
So I'm stuck...

@Davide Okay, my guess is, that the admin of your Hubzilla server disabled the rss feed integration. I think it needs a lot of ressources …

I've just self hosted and instance, but out of the box I cannot even add the rss as contact.
Since now I am the admin, where can I add the needed apps/configuration?

@Davide As an admin, go to Admin→Site. There look for the section Policies and enable the setting

Allow Feeds as Connections (Heavy system resource usage).

Ok I now am able to add the guardian feed as contact, but I'm in the same situation, since I cannot add the contact as source.

In order to add a feed as a contact, this option must have been enabled on the Hub by the admin. Otherwise, the option to connect to feeds will not be available.
As far as I am aware, it is unfortunately not possible to use feeds for channel sources.
