I have in memory that Jack London wrote a short story in which a dried monkey's paw played a part. A search on the Internet keeps leading me to William W. Jacobs (1863 - 1943) as the author of "The Monkey's Paw." Does anyone know of a Jack London story in which dried monkey's paw plays a role? Or maybe a short story by Jack London, where the protagonist gets his wish in a similarly cruel way?
