TravelersNotebook The second attempt is finished and I'm happy with it. :D

Turning it inside out went so much easier and quicker as with that snappap variant a few days ago. :D

Decided to do a sewn line along the full middle and not just for the outside pockets to help it sit right within the travelers journal.

The card holders are a little broader, too. And the top one is a little broad, should still work fine enough. Might put some business cards in there in case I meet people I'd like to stay in touch with. (Still a little under the phone ban impression from Ghost, which I'm very much in favour of, but it made exchanging contacts a little harder. 🤭)

Testing in my fandom Travelers Notebook. (Don't pay too close attention to the edges of that one. It was a very quick job with cloth that didn't like to stay too straight.)

Ticket pocket! (I didn't go and search for tix for the photo, but they fit. I tested afterwards.)

Money compartment! The zipper zips! That was also a problem with the failed first attempt. Needed brute force to get past a certain point. This one? It just goes zip zip zip! 😍

Backside pocket, with no dedicated function yet.

Next up: The actual travelers journal to go with this. I'm not yet sure about the outside material. Since this is supposed to be a gig pouch, I might want to put pins and buttons into it, so snappap or cork leather are out of question. I might use snappap for the inside. 🤔 Would give stability, but also would make it rather stiff and I prefer my TN's to have a flappy part covering the edge. (Also saves me the headache of precise measuring. 🤭 )
I also want a little booklet to go into the middle, like in the photos above. So that has to be made, too. But that's a matter of maybe half an hour.
