Finally finished what was meant to be Mum's Easter present. I made her a smaller gig purse than mine to fit into her bag. It should have been a little shorter still to fit better, though. The cover and booklet had been done in time, but the purse and cardholder thingy had to wait while I was concentrated on other things and not quite feeling like sewing machine work.
But since I would like to test run them the last May weekend for the Bundeshundespiele, I had to sit down and do the sewing. It's a little wonky in places, but it works and I do hope the money pocket stays put. I flattened it after sewing the zipper, but it still got stuck when using the zipper, so I flattened it after the whole thing was finished once again and it seems to behave now.

Twisting the inside out!

Somehow, I switched sides to how I've planned it. But still works like this.

Only two card pockets, because three might have been just a tad too narrow. So, it's better like this than having unusable pockets.

Before the Last Flattening…
I thought I had done photos of the cover, but I couldn't find them just now. So here's the whole, complete Travelers Notebook inspired Gig Purse:

Found a Muse button to add. :D
I know we also have Grönemeyer buttons and I would've loved to use one as well. Alas, I couldn't find them again.

Encountered a rubber band that has the right size for this TN, so I added it in, in case Mum ever gets adventurous and wants to add more inlays.

Is it very obvious this was my very first time working with bias binding?
