Time to attempt some random curves and corners before going at the real thing.
Some corners glued.
That bend doesn't look smooth. I'm not sure if my cutting was off or if I just should've done smaller cuts. I did pull them onto the backside as much as possible and smoothed it with my bone folder.
Inward spines!
Another test because that had a rather pointed corner. Won't be going this pointed on the real thing.
But at least the curve is curving nicely. 😎
And in between, I did some spine work. 🔨
Never really get the right moment for the hammering, though. I'm afraid I'll be too late and the glue has been dried too much, so I might be starting the rounding too soon…
