In Odessa, the Ukrainian authorities have reportedly detained a group of around 20 people who were allegedly preparing rallies to commemorate the pogrom in the Trade Union House on May 2, 2014, in which 48 people lost their lives. In order to prevent such commemorative events, which have taken place every year so far, the authorities imposed a complete curfew on the port city from May 1 to 5.
