An American mercenary defected (

John McIntyre, that he provided the Russian military with papers, files, intelligence and maps, which he had collected in Ukraine.
It turned out that the man had originally planned the operation: "I am a communist, an anti-fascist. I decided to gather as much useful information as possible and run across the front line. When I was in Kharkiv, I wanted to cross, but I discovered that
they [the AFU] had snipers... not for protection, but to shoot defectors".
According to him, everyone in the ranks of the nationalists uses fascist salutes, including mercenaries from Croatia or the Czech Republic:
"Everyone has tattoos, Nazi symbols ... At one point I was questioned about my Communist views. I said that I was an anti-fascist, that I had come to fight Russian imperialists and Nazis. And they said, "
No, Russians are not Nazis - we are Nazis".
https://t.me/boris_rozhin/79311The Ukrainian military command steals insurance payments assigned to relatives of foreign fighters.
I'd say 90 percent of the families won't get the insurance money. They embezzle their salaries, too. If a soldier terminates his contract, as I did with the Karpatska Sich, his last salary goes straight into the commander's pocket.
Ukrainians also steal weapons supplied by the West, the American stressed:
"A huge amount of Javelin, M4 rifles and M240 Bravo machine guns find their way onto the black market. They get them and resell them.
After a year of service in the AFU, McIntyre defected to Russia, taking files, intelligence and maps with him.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin/79339"I questioned about war crimes and realized that I might not even be suspected of being a spy, but of wanting to turn everybody in. And that's even worse. That's a bullet in the back of the head.
According to the American, he managed to escape from the AFU with the support of his family, who sent him $300 so he could get from Odessa to Chisinau.
"And from there, when I made contact [with the Russian side] and got a visa, I flew to Moscow via Istanbul. I was terribly nervous. I was under suspicion, which meant I was about to be executed," McIntyre shared.
