The very chonky number three didn't want to play nice with the glue.
I do think rounded and in-boards would've worked so much better than this flatback where the textblock is also only attached with the endpapers. I will remake those at some point… But not now. Not even this year. Give myself some more good practising.
So I carefully put some more glue into the gap with a small brush. And another night in clamps it was.
It did help. We still have to address this one with "Sie", but at least it's not coming apart anymore. 🙌🏻
I do have clamp marks in the cork leather now, though…
