fanbinding Nothing big, just a quick one. The signatures were already printed. So I finally cut them. And did a quick longstitch before the dogsite.
Yeah, well… The holes were a little crooked…


And because the endpapers' backsides were printed upside down, I thought, no biggy, I just laminate them.
no-one will know anything.


Thus, I took them apart, cut off the part that had the punched holes and discarded the endpapers in favour of a simple red paper that I put all around the textblock to be. Took more care about putting the holes in. Sewed again.


It does look better now.
I did use moisture guards, but still some moisture must've crept through, so now I also have wavy pages.





And because my printer can't print without leaving white edges, I cut liberally. Maybe a little too liberally at the bottom…

Apparently, page numbers did not suffice as a sacrifice. Getting the long edge a little straighter in the end also demanded a blood sacrifice…
