decades ago, in the 90s i was once working in my parents' garden, listening to music coming from the tv inside. i really liked this music. a band, consisting of a choir with some percussions, perfect sound, some live performance from a jazz festival in germany. i got curious and went inside to see who this was, no ubiquitous internet back then. and i was stunned: not a band with a choir, just one person: bobby mcferrin. nearly instantaneously switching octaves, and creating percussions with his chest and the micro and his beard. i couldn't continue trimming the lawn and had to wait until the tv show was over.
a fantastic musician. unluckily never managed to attend one of his shows ...
