I'm considering posting outfit pictures again. That would require showing my face because most of the pictures I already have do.
I still have no way at all of making Mastodon hide them, so the only possible protection from eye contact would be a hashtag that can be filtered. But I've only got rather few connections on general-purpose Mastodon instances. I don't have any connections on instances where protection from eye contact is mandatory. And I don't expect my outfit posts to be repeated, boosted and renoted all over the Fediverse anyway.
So I think I can take the risk. But if anyone who reads this thinks that's a bad idea, tell me so.
