From the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement on the grain deal:
"However, contrary to the declared humanitarian objectives, the export of Ukrainian food was almost immediately transferred to a purely commercial basis and, until the last moment, was aimed at serving the narrowly vested interests of Kiev and its Western curators. The facts and figures, as they say, speak for themselves. During the work of the Black Sea Initiative, a total of 32.8 million tons of cargo was exported, of which more than 70% (26.3 million tons) was shipped to high- and upper-middle-income countries, including the EU. The poorest states, notably Ethiopia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Sudan, Yemen and Somalia, accounted for less than 3%, a total of 922,092 tons."
