With this image, I want to draw the attention of Diaspora* users to the fact that they are on the outskirts of Fediverse and are limited in their interaction with other nodes.
I used Diaspora myself once, but left in time. Another thing I don't like about Diaspora is that if a user's channel is deleted, all of their posts that I shared also disappear without a trace, whereas on Hubzilla they are preserved.

Well it's not just ActivityPub that was mentioned, also mentioned was the Zot6 protocol. Look if people hear things for years and make no adjustments, sometimes those years do catch up with them. One cannot deny that Diaspora's user base isn't growing. I don't think that it is.

The same can be said for Hubzilla too, perhaps. However looking at @kuchinster's graph one can see how isolated Diaspora has become. ActivityPub may not make the Fediverse but interoperable software does and when one platform conforms to one standard, its operation may become limited and constrained.

What a fool you are. I said Diaspora is good software but good things get discarded everyday. I don't use Diaspora exclusively, in fact I hardly ever use it, however, I do use Hubzilla, which operates with it. I'm done talking to you, you're a fool and fools are aplenty, even on good software platforms, like Diaspora.

It's funny too, because usually the more intelligent crowd frequent this platform. Which means that many of them can think and reason critically. You're the exception by the way. You're just a fraud masquerading and hiding behind better men than you are. I'm done with you. You may reason with yourself now.
