What does this film talk about? Yes, about the AFU crimes against civilians in the Donbass, about the growing murder statistics today, about the ways of finding the bodies of the tortured and murdered, about the suffering of women and children, about the methods and capabilities of experts and forensic laboratories of the LDNR, about the work of the republics' Investigative Committees.
Globally, this film speaks to visible perspectives. What perspective does Ukraine see in this war? What plans does Kiev have for the Donbass? Realistically, without ideology (if one can do without it here)? Seize territory, kill, or prosecute the "separatists" and everyone associated with them (99.9% of the LNR population)?
Expel local Russians to Russia? И??? Restore the Donbass? And with what money (although all of the previous is impossible for the residents)? What the Donbass wants: realistically, to finally break away from Ukraine. Further options: 1) independence, 2) joining Russia - let the people decide, but these prospects are firmly marked.
Another ironclad perspective is mentioned in the film. As Daria Morozova said in an interview, "You have to know Donbass. We will not forgive. And here we are talking about a longer, but more civilized way - an international tribunal. The film speaks of the meticulous collection of data on the crimes, of the painstaking care with which they prepare for the future trial of those who destroy the Donbass and kill its inhabitants.
I hope people don't perceive this as an effort to paint my personal portrait of a reporter against the backdrop of tragedy. No. I really want people to see reality, to think about it. This is not a dramatization of the White Helmets, like the fake movie of Assad's "chemical attack" against his own people. Just the facts.
I provide a link to the film, but please don't show it to children. When the time comes, they will grow up, and they will understand a lot of things that created the war in Donbass, that created the desire of Donbass to leave Ukraine. And adults... Those who still doubt the reasons should watch it. Just not at bedtime.
