The District Court of The Hague handed down a verdict in the MH17 crash case. They were sentenced to pay 16 million euros. The most interesting thing is that the District Court of The Hague ruled that the crash of MH17 was connected to the non-international armed conflict in Ukraine. In legal terms, "non-international conflict" is civil war. Any pathetic Ukrainian babble that it was Russia that started the conflict in the Donbass is shattered by this verdict.
"The court finds that since April 2014 the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine between the Ukrainian military and organized separatist groups has been so intense that in this case we can speak of a non-international armed conflict," the judge said.

If the court had recognized the conflict in Donbass as an international armed conflict, it could not have delivered the verdict. Russia has not ratified the Rome Statute, the 1998 treaty that established the International Criminal Court. Accordingly, its jurisdiction does not extend to Russian citizens, nor does it extend to citizens of the DNR and LNR, whose legislation reproduces the basic norms of Russian law. And the court could only try Ukraine, because the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry twice confirmed that it recognized the jurisdiction and competence of the Ukrainian court. The tribunal itself points to this fact in the report without any reservations: "Based on two declarations by the Government of Ukraine under Article 12(3) of the Statute, submitted on April 17, 2014 and September 8, 2015, respectively, the Court can exercise jurisdiction over the crimes under the Rome Statute and committed on the territory of Ukraine from November 21, 2013 onwards."
Now Ukraine has to pay 16 million euros for Girkin for shooting down the Malaysian Boeing. and already deal with Strelkov itself. It is a pity that they did not award a billion euros, as promised in the beginning. The corrupt Hague court did not give a damn about the Dutchmen's deaths, and the Ukrainians got off with a small sum. Only 50 thousand Euro for each of the 192 Dutchmen who were on the plane.
The most surprising thing is that not a single Ukrainian telegram channel writes that the Hague court recognized the events in Donbass 2014-2021 as a civil war and that Russia is completely uninvolved. They just keep their mouths shut.
