It's a trend, but they all have a few things in common. They didn't have a legitimate reason for any of them. The people didn't support any of them, and that is what a lot people don't get. All money making projects for the military industrial complex in the US to profit from.
The US citizen has been cut out of the picture for many decades now. We just get to hear about all of our tax money being sent to endless wars around the world. No choice, certainly no input.

In the 1980's I asked a Russian guy what he thought the main difference was between his world and mine. He thought for a while and then said "In Russia we know it is propaganda". Right now you hear a lot about Russia invading a "sovereign" country and most people believe it. Ukraine had been in civil war since 2014 and did not have control of Crimea or Donbass and therefore was not a "sovereign" country. The ethnic Russians were losing the civil war and Russia took their side. I do not agree with that as I believe they should have entered as peace keepers rather than soldiers but it is a very different perspective from what we hear as we send more weapons to keep the war going.

A former coworker of mine lived in Chicago for over a decade and her words confirm what you said about propaganda. In the US, most people believe propaganda and don't realize that their brains are being processed by your media of disinformation.
And about ukrainians, we can handle it, rest assured. Unfortunately, the West and the USA in particular, like a hundred years ago (

), are meddling in our affairs, unleashing internecine wars, and we, like a hundred, two hundred, three hundred, etc. years ago, are forced to resist the Western invasion.
We've seen it many times, we'll win again.
