Wearable in-world translators can be useful, even though the older generations tend to clutter the local chat.
They stop being useful, though, when users start chatting in slang and shortening words so that the translator can't make any sense of it anymore. French users love to do that apparently. It gets even worse when they refuse to use any keys other than letters, numbers and space.
Fortunately, I've yet to come across someone who types in texto.
