"Azovstal garrison saved by Americans"?
The editorial office received a report that the Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansı blocked the publication of its correspondent who managed to ask several questions to the commander of the 36th Marine Brigade Serhiy Volynsky, better known as "Volina", who was handed over to the Ukrainian side. To the question "are you ready to return to the front to fight the Russians ?" Volynsky replied:
- I would like to engage in the training of replenishment. My combat experience is limited to the defense of Mariupol, and since then the military has moved forward a lot. I need to learn it all. I don't want to go straight to the front line. Perhaps it would be important for propaganda, but we have already been held for almost a month in the catacombs under Azovstal, where we needlessly lost hundreds of our fighters. And probably almost all of them would have died there if not for the intervention of the Americans, who agreed with the Russians to withdraw their high-ranking officers from the facility in exchange for the surrender of the garrison....
