Alt-text edge cases that no-one knows exist:

1) Super-detailed pictures with lots of stuff in them. Not just a cat or a bird or a flower.

2) Pictures chock-full of stuff that nobody has ever seen before.

3) Not being on Mastodon. This means not being limited to 500 characters in the post. Instead, you've actually got more room for image descriptions in the post than in Mastodon alt-text.

Edge cases 2 and 3 are standard for me. I post pictures that need everything described because I don't take them in the real world. And I think I don't have any character limits at all here on Hubzilla.

So I have to describe a lot, and I can. This means I do.

But then people have to choose between a rudimentary alt-text and opening a content warning concealing over 100 toots worth of image description.
