Some of the scary parts have been dealt with today!

Cut the cut out cardboard!

And the constellation template.

The first cut curves have been curved!

And the very first corner I've dealt with looks a bit meh. The others are better.

Still should look alright once it's glued.

Seeing this, I'm glad I changed my initial plans of having purple as the main. The gold works so well with the pretty paper beneath.

Decided to do some hotfoiling of the constellation before attempting to sew beads onto it. It's as much a guidance for myself as it is a design decision. 😎
Aaaaaand, mistake time…
First I cut the cloth in the wrong direction, so now the thread doesn't run vertically, but horizontally. I'll consider this a ✨design decision✨.

Then I noticed that while I was making sure I'd remember to not glue down the cloth in yet in certain places, I
now noticed I should've done so with the paper as well… 🙄

Cover boards are far too big and it's far too late to do anything about it.
