Recipes: Geiler Scheiß aus der Tube

Geiler Scheiß aus der Tube

Hot Shit from the Tube img This is an easy recipe for dog treats that you can put into refillable tubes and take along on walks.

Since Leia has a lot of food allergies, ingredients are very limited. No cattle, pig or chicken, no milk products, most grains are also bad. Which pretty much leaves me with: Rice and fish or horse.

Thankfully, both dogs like fish.

The ingredients for my very complex recipe: - a small cup of rice - some fish, usually deep-frozen - fish or salmon oil

For the preparation, I use our steam cooker.

1) Cook rice. img (take even less than that)

2) Add the fish on a different level of the steam cooker after a while.

3) Toss everything into a blender and add some fish oil for extra tastes and smells. Add water as needed

4) BLEND! BRRRRRRRRGN

5) Fill everything into your reusable tubes. We’ve got silicon ones. - This process is a little messy. - You might also need to add a little water to get the texture right. This step is a lot of experimenting.

6) Let cool and take dog and tube on a walk. 🐕 - I keep them in the fridge between walks img

img Gojira approves.

Can I just do large portions and store them in the freezer?

Well, yes, you could. But the texture is not as nice once you’ve defrosted the pulp. The tubes also will squirt some water before the pulp comes out, which puts off Leia a lot.
